Childwickbury Stud enjoyed a fantastic day at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday, 17th May, proudly sponsoring the Listed Childwickbury Stud Fillies’ Trial Stakes — a key fixture in the calendar for progressive fillies with Classic aspirations.

The feature race was won in impressive style by Qilin Queen, providing an exciting new Listed winner for first-season sire Pinatubo. The talented filly is out of the Sea The Stars mare Seagull, a close relative to Nightime, the Classic-winning dam of Ghaiyyath. Qilin Queen was a standout graduate of the Tattersalls Book 2 Sale, having been purchased by Sackville Donald for 280,000gns.

The day was a great success both on and off the track, with clients and guests of Childwickbury Stud enjoying top-class racing, hospitality, and a celebratory atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
