Mr and Mrs Flatt took over the ownership of Childwickbury Stud in December 2011.
Originally built in 1888 by Sir John Blundell Maple as part of his Childwickbury estate, he bred and raced Thoroughbreds and built Childwickbury Stud into the very successful horse breeding operation it is today.
Since taking over the stud in 2011 Mr and Mrs Flatt have undergone an extensive refurbishment programme, with the aim to continue as a thoroughbred stud.
Chantal has 22 years experience working professionally in the thoroughbred stud industry. She was formerly 11 years at Church Farm Stud, assistant at Fittocks Stud and Athbah Stud before joining Childwickbury Stud.
Chantal won a TBA stud staff award, special recognition at the Godolphin Stud and stable staff awards for work in the RoR as well as short listed for the Godolphin stable staff awards.
