Childwickbury Stud homebred Forager showcased her continued progress with a determined performance to land her second career victory — and her first of the 2025 season — winning over 5 furlongs at Yarmouth this afternoon at odds of 28/1, ridden by Jack Mitchell.

Trained by Simon Pearce, the daughter of Showcasing is now a winner at both two and three years old, rewarding connections with her development and consistency.

She is out of the winning Dark Angel mare Angel Of The South and hails from a quality pedigree, being from the family of Group 2-placed Oeuvre d’Art.

Forager was bred and raised at Childwickbury Stud and sold as a yearling through Jamie Railton Sales Agency at the Tattersalls Book 3 Yearling Sale.

This latest success further highlights the strength of the Stud’s breeding and sales programme. With her latest win under her belt, Forager looks an exciting prospect for the remainder of the season.
